Every week all over the world there are tons of different events surrounding the topic of construction. Some are huge conferences with thousands of people, while others are on a smaller scale. We’ve done our research and narrowed down what we believe to be the some of the top 5 most influential construction events in North America.
1. BUILDEX (Vancouver and Edmonton, Canada)
The Vancouver based BuildEx (February 25-26, 2016) is one of the largest tradeshows in Western Canada, roughly 13,500 attend annually. This massive conference is not dedicated only to those in construction but also brings in industry professionals in renovation, architecture, interior design, and property management. A great conference to get educated on the latest these industries have to offer. The Edmonton event (March 15-16) offers similar benefits just with a smaller audience.
2. Building Last Chance (Toronto, Canada)
As there is no better time than now to go green, be sure to stop by this one day event in Toronto on June 7th, 2016. This 100 booth expo has all the latest on going green in our industry.
3. Alberta Sustainable Building Symposium (Alberta, Canada)
This event is recommended and considered to be one of the best networking events in the industry. The ideal crowd to attend are building owners and operators, architects, engineers, planners, builders, green product suppliers, and planning and building policy makers. Date set this year for May 10th, this isn’t something you want to miss!
4. World Of Concrete (Las Vegas, USA)
This massive event runs for 5 days and showcases tons of products relevant to the construction industry. Even if only making it for one day works with your schedule, you’re guaranteed to learn lots! Scheduled February 1-5th, 2016.
5. Construct Canada (Toronto, Canada)
Known as North America’s largest exposition, networking and educational event. It hosts more than 1600 exhibits, with over 100 being international. Not until November 30th-December 2nd, 2016 there is still lots of time for you to register!
