DSI Canada – Peace River Bridge Launching
Photo of the month! Our client, DSI Canada (DYWIDAG-Systems International) is a global firm that specializes in Post-Tensioning Systems for Construction Solutions.
Pictured here is a bridge replacement project in progress on the Peace River in Peace River, AB.
The large red steel frame is called a launching nose and is brought in to help erect a bridge starting from one shore, one section at a time. On this project, DSI deploy a combination of post tension tendon, jacks and rollers to “bridge launch” – an environmentally conscientious method of tackling a bridge while not disrupting the creek bed below.
DSI uses SiteMax to track daily photo progress, paperless reporting and worker hours coming from multiple projects across the globe.
Keeping out of natures way is an important consideration for an increasing number of Canadian Construction projects. Keeping up to date on daily field reporting and progress photos is paramount.
When considering a daily field reporting platform for your projects,
pick one simple, powerful solution: SiteMax Systems.
